Super-Athletes

The sports journalism team at the GZH news portal was willing to present the best Brazilian athletes – and their international equivalents – for five sports categories of the 2020 Olympics, which took place in Japan, in July and August 2021.

The process
The featured athletes were selected and we decided to represent them using the Super Trump cards style which, when clicked, would present the main characteristics of each one and a justification for their choice.

My role
As a web designer, I gathered the arts and structures created by the team of illustrators and organized the elements to combine on the page. I was responsible for developing the landing page (also styling and animating the cards) and publishing the material.

I am a UX/UI designer with experience in graphic design, Front-End, Editorial Design, Infographics, Art Edition and Art Direction. Four-time winner of Malofiej Infographics and two-time winner of the Abril Journalism Award and the RBS Journalism Award.

I  currently work for Omelete Company as UX and UI designer of Mundo Ticket, a ticket sales website for pop culture and e-sports events such as CCXP, gamescom latam and IEM Rio. I am responsible for its CMS and website. I also work with the news websites Omelete.com and TheEnemy.com. 

I worked for printed and digital newspapers and magazines from Grupo RBS and Editora Abril (Brazilian’s Publishers).
